The PICCASO Awards, founded in 2021 by PICCASO in partnership with GRC World Forums, were created to celebrate those making a meaningful and lasting impact in the fields of privacy, information security, and compliance.

What began as a Europe-focused initiative has grown into a global platform. Now in its fourth year in Europe, the awards have expanded with the PICCASO Canada Awards, which launched in 2024 and the PICCASO LA Awards, launching in 2025, bringing together international leaders and changemakers across sectors and disciplines.

The PICCASO Awards recognise excellence at every level, from professionals navigating complex privacy and regulatory environments to academics, engineers, and technologists pushing forward thought leadership and innovation. With 24 award categories, they shine a light on the individuals, teams, products, and organisations building a safer, more ethical digital future.
