Founded in 2021 by PICCASO in partnership with GRC World Forums, the PICCASO Awards were created to recognise and celebrate those making a meaningful and lasting impact across privacy, information security, AI and compliance.

What began as a Europe‑focused initiative has evolved into a global platform for excellence. Now in its fifth year in Europe, the Awards have expanded internationally with the launch of the PICCASO Canada Awards and PICCASO Africa Awards, bringing together leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across sectors and disciplines worldwide.
